This album is steeped in a fin-de-siècle atmosphere, drawing on the period itself as well as on everything that echoes the twilight. We sing all at once of the exhaustion of a world, and the opening of new mystical paths. »(Isidore)

"La Nuit Qui Tombe sketches a musical spectrum that comes to us like a sonic silhouette from the last century. Defying the course of time, the information comes to us in fragments. Like a memory that recalls itself to us, the gramophone delivers the distant echo of a past life. Memories telescope to the rhythm of the machine's frequencies. Often the memory declines and plunges, the noisy jolts of cold and abrasive strings assault us. These moments of chaos are followed by lucid moments. The piano and the suspended atmospheres accompany the dream of a recovered memory. The nostalgia of the notes and the forgotten timbre of the voices resurface for a time. Then the images become distorted again. Swallowed up by the mists, the light fades away. The gramophone burps, then calms down, the fragments of memory struggle to reconstitute themselves. And the echoes continue in the distance in a kaleidoscope of black and white".- Ralf Manor

Cet album est imbibé d'une atmosphère fin-de-siècle, puisant dans la période proprement dite comme dans tout ce qui renvoie l'écho du crépuscule. Nous chantons tout à la fois l'épuisement d'un monde, et l'ouverture de nouvelles voies mystiques. » (Isidore)

"La Nuit Qui Tombe esquisse un spectre musical qui vient à nous telle une silhouette sonore issue du siècle dernier. Défiant le cours du temps, l’information nous vient par fragments. À l’image d’une mémoire qui se rappelle à nous, le gramophone nous livre l’écho lointain d’une vie passée. Les souvenirs se télescopent au rythme des fréquences de la machine. Souvent la mémoire décline et plonge, les sursauts bruitistes de nappes froides et abrasives nous assaillent. À ces moments de chaos succèdent les instants lucides. Le piano et les ambiances suspendues accompagnent le rêve d’un souvenir retrouvé. La nostalgie des notes et le timbre oublié des voix ressurgissent pour un temps. Puis, les images se déforment à nouveau. Engloutie par les brumes, la lumière s’évanouit. Le gramophone éructe, puis s’apaise, les parcelles de mémoires peinent à se reconstituer.
